Executive Team

Douglas Reinke joined Vicon in 2000 as Sales Manager and was instrumental in the companies Life Science market success both domestically and internationally. Prior to Vicon, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Management and was a member of Enterprise Rent-A-Car's management team for over 10 years. In addition, he also established 3 start-up companies. In May 2008, Doug was named President and CEO of Vicon and oversees Operations, Development and Sales worldwide.

BILL BRANDSMA

Chief Financial Officer

Bill Brandsma joined Vicon in February 2008. Prior to joining Vicon, Bill worked two years in public accounting with Arthur Andersen, LLP and five years with First Data Corporation, serving as a Director of Accounting. Bill graduated with honors in 2001 and earned his Certified Public Accountant certification in 2003. Bill is now CFO and is responsible for overseeing the accounting and finance functions for Vicon, as well as the HR function for Vicon US.

IMOGEN MOORHOUSE

Chief Operating Officer

Imogen Moorhouse graduated with an honors degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1993 and worked in technical sales and support covering technologies such as instrument calibration, process valves and marine measurement systems. Imogen joined Vicon in 2001 as Life Sciences Sales Specialist for the European and Asian markets. Imogen is now COO and oversees Sales, Product Management, Support, Quality Assurance, Marketing and Production.

MICHAEL BIRCH

Technical Director

Michael Birch joined Vicon in 1997 as a Principal Electronics Design Engineer having worked within the professional video industry since graduating from Warwick University. He has gained his experience in the UK and in the US working within and leading teams designing innovative video products. While working for Vicon, he has been awarded a Technical Achievement Award by the Academy of Motion Arts and Sciences. Michael is responsible for the whole of Vicon development.

DOUG GRIFFIN

Vice President of Corporate Strategy

For 15 years, Doug Griffin has been instrumental in the motion capture success of entertainment leaders including Industrial Light and Magic, ImageMovers Digital, Electronic Arts. He has performed supervisory, artistic, and technical work on several academy award nominated films. Before working in the entertainment market, Doug’s formal education was Biomechanics and Gait Analysis where he focused primarily on lower limb mechanics.

TARA VALGOI

Vice President of Global Marketing

Tara Valgoi joined Vicon in March of 2003 and led marketing efforts for Life Science applications in the United States. In 2008 she was named Vice President of Global Marketing where she is responsible for Vicon’s global marketing strategy and functions including brand management, product positioning, and marketing research, as well as integrated marketing communications, PR and promotional campaigns designed to reach customers on a unique and identifiable level. Prior to Vicon, Tara served as a Marketing Manager for The Forum Corporation, a division of the Financial Times where she worked extensively with sales teams to successfully grow territories while building influential communication programs.

BRIAN RAUSCH

Vice President of Production Services

Brian Rausch joined Vicon House of Moves in January 2008 after 8 years with Sony Computer Entertainment America where he expanded the Motion Capture department and created one of the biggest motion capture facilities in Northern America. While at SCEA, Brian was the Senior Manager of the Visual Arts Services Group covering Motion Capture, Cinematics and Scanning divisions of SCEA World Wide Studios. As Vicon’s VP of Production, Brian’s years of animation expertise is changing the landscape of Vicon House of Moves from a strictly motion capture house into a full blown animation powerhouse.

JUSTIN CALLAHAN

Vice President of US Support & Quality Assurance

Justin Callahan joined Vicon in 2006 as an Application Engineer, and was promoted to VP of Quality Assurance and Support within three years. Justin plays a key role within Vicon, managing a team of engineers dedicated to quality, accuracy, and customer service. Prior to Vicon, Justin received his undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University in Kinesiology with a focus on Biomechanics, after which he began to pursue a Master’s degree in Exercise Science/Biomechanics from the University of Wyoming researching and analyzing ways to improve postural stability and balance in an elderly population.
