Internal Sales Engineer

This opportunity is for a graduate engineer or someone with a strong technical or engineering background to develop into a sales engineering role. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with at least 3 years of work experience in a high technology product or service company. The position is expected to grow into a more senior position, with external sales and territory responsibility.
The way to become a commercial success in our markets is to be the expert. You will work intensively with our support engineering department and travel with install engineers while you are being immersed in our technology. The ability to talk to our clients with technical confidence will be based on your confidence and the experience you will gain from using our technology.
You will be both measured and compensated by results achieved against expectations. Experience in motion capture, 3D computer graphics, computer games (Developers or Publishers), Feature Films or TV/Broadcast a plus.
In addition to working with select Vicon prospective customers you will be responsible for organizing the prestige selling events, demonstrations and trade exhibitions.

The qualified candidate will possess the following qualities and attributes:
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
•A four year degree in a technical discipline
•Computer literate with expert knowledge of Microsoft office applications, specifically Word and Excel
•Be willing to relocate to Los Angeles, California
•Be willing to travel up to 25% of the time

Software Developer
Software developers are sought to join the Vicon application team to work on existing and new products in the Denver Colorado office.
Job Description:
• Development of complex software architectures in C++.
• Development of highly interactive Windows products.
• Support the commercial and development activities of OMG plc.
Requirements:
• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of team based C++ development within a commercial environment.
• Currently reside or be willing to relocate to the Denver metro area
• Able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
Attributes:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, motivated team player.
• Responsible and self directed on short and medium term goals.
• Flexible: an ability to recognize the need to do something and do it
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
Experience in these areas would be advantageous:
• GUI design and coding, communications, multi threading.
• Software quality processes
• Qt, OpenGL, MFC, .NET, WPF, or other GUI toolkits.
• STL, Boost. Scripting languages
• Motion capture, CAD, VR, biomechanics, 3D graphics.
