Vicon is the world leader in motion capture, developing high performance software and hardware products for the entertainment, engineering and medical industries. Vicon products have been used in most major feature films and many games and TV commercials. We have offices in Oxford, Denver and Los Angeles. The role is based in our Oxford development group.

Vicon seeks a senior computer vision scientist with excellent and relevant research experience, gained in academic, public sector, or commercial environments, to at least post-graduate level. Prototyping and development takes place in Matlab, Python and C++. Excellent C++ and software engineering skills are important. The successful candidate will be working on developing technologies for marker and video-based motion capture.

Experience of the following areas would be advantageous:
• Motion capture and human modeling
• Tracking and matching
• Multiple view geometry, camera calibration and structure-from-motion
• Image processing
