28 March 2007: Vicon, part of the Oxford Metrics Group and developer of Academy Award-winning motion capture systems, announced today its MX40+ camera system will provide the motion capture capabilities for the Visual Media Lab at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).

.Dr Junyong Noh, Assistant Professor of Graduate School of Culture Technology at KAIST, commented: “ The Vicon system will be used by KAIST in its research into improving the realism of digital actors and special effects, as well as creating highly intuitive interfaces to facilitate the use of computer graphics technology. “
