VICON ANNOUNCES GUEST DEMO SLATE AT SIGGRAPH 2007
Engaging Demonstrations from ILM, Pendulum Studios, Activision, Mova, Method Studios and Softimage Throughout Conference
Los Angeles, CA (July 25, 2007)—VICON, developer of Academy Award®-winning motion capture systems, will be offering an exciting panel of guest presenters at SIGGRAPH 2007. VICON will be exhibiting at SIGGRAPH in Booth #902, August 7-9, at the San Diego Convention Center and will feature guest mo-cap demonstrations from ILM, Pendulum Studios, Mova, Method Studios, Softimage and Activision. In addition to the excitement on the show floor, VICON will be co-hosting the Visual FXtasy party along with Pendulum Studios and Softimage on the evening of Wednesday, August 8th at San Diego’s House of Blues.
Guest demos artists will include: Mike Sanders from Industrial Light and Magic, Mike Jantz from Activision, Rob Taylor and Mike McCormick from Studio Pendulum, Gil Baron from Method Studios, Greg LaSalle from Mova and Mark Schoennagel from Softimage. Representatives from VICON and VICON House of Moves will also be on the stand to showcase real time pre-visualization, full body performance capture and the latest motion capture workflow techniques and solutions.
