REAL-TIME NOW AVAILABLE BETWEEN VICON BLADE AND MAYA

15 November 2010: Vicon, developer of motion capture products for the Entertainment, Engineering and Life Science markets, today announced that a new plug-in from Ikinema will allow Vicon Blade customers to stream real-time skeletal data straight into Maya for the first time.

The Ikinema Animation Plug-in for Maya has a fast full body solver, retargeting tools and the ability to apply constraints, gravity and balance effects to characters within Maya. Some of the other key benefits include:
- Real-time streaming from Blade to Maya
- Retargeting from Blade into characters in Maya
- Exclusive interface between Vicon software and the IKinema plug-in giving all the benefits of the IKinema solver and tools to Vicon customers
- Available through your Vicon sales person or direct from Ikinema
- Vicon customers receive a 15% discount
