Vicon’s Field of View (FOV) options allow you to mix and match three different lens and strobe combinations for each camera, increasing strobe efficiency for maximum marker clarity on any environment.

Our custom non-IR-blocking lens and our additional approved lenses maximize capture volume and distance to markers. Other industry cameras use off-the-shelf zoom lenses that block light in the IR spectrum, which limits the distance the camera can see.

WIDE LENS - CAPTURE IN SMALL SPACES Wide lens / strobe options are essential for data capture, increasing the amount of light exposed on the periphery of the lens. This leads to greater data consistency and accuracy at every level. Life Science, Gait Analysis, and Lab professionals can now maximize their capture volumes in small labs with FOVs up to 70 degrees. Available as NIR only.

STANDARD LENS - BALANCE CAPTURE DISTANCE AND WIDTH Standard lens / strobe options support a wide variety of applications and are flexible in almost any scenario. Capture medium-size volumes with a field of view angle up to 56 degrees, increasing your application flexibility and utilization. Available as NIR, IR, and VR.		.

NARROW LENS - CAPTURE FROM A DISTANCE Narrow or Long lens / strobe options create a narrow and distant field of view, and allow you to customize your capture for the perfect scene. For example, Performance Capture professionals can now utilize longer lenses to capture tiny facial markers at greater distances. Long capture volumes and runways can be also be captured without additional trussing. Available as NIR only.
