IMPROVED GRAPH SCALING CONTROL SYSTEM
You asked. We listened. We've given you more control over your graphs, including the ability to chose the default length of the time (x) axis when a new graph is opened. Now only that, but you can lock the time (x) scale set.

INCREASED USER CONTROL IN DATA PROCESSING
More control, more choice. Nexus fives you more control over your data my providing new trajectory fitting methods and reconstruction parameters. This is particularly useful in challenging environments and provides the improved data quality you need.

NEW 'EXTERNAL TRIGGER' MONITOR ACTION
Trigger it. Customers using external equipment can now activate their devices from a selected GPO port in their Vicon system when a monitored event occurs.

IMPROVED LIVE/OFFLINE MODE INDICATORS
Clearer indicators, easier operations. You asked for a clearer indicator of your system status to know if it's live or offline. GUI improvements and system connection indicators now more clearly indicate when a live system is connected.

HARDWARE SUPPORT FOR NEW BONITA CAMERAS
Bonita has quickly become the fastest selling Vicon camera ever. You can now capture data with a Bonita system and process it with Nexus 1.5 software.

EASY TO LEARN, EASY TO USE
Nexus saves you time by offering you unprecedented levels of usability. The interface guides you through all stages of preparation, acquisition and review. The days of searching in obscure menus for the functionality you need have gone; Nexus has the buttons, menus and controls where you expect to find them. Nexus has been designed according to modern user interface principles, so have fun exploring and using the attractive interface.

NATIVE REAL TIME
Nexus is real-time to its core so that you can view all data in real time, all the time. If you add a camera to your system, no need to tell Nexus, it will tell you. The Health Monitors, unique to Nexus, will inform you if something unexpected has occurred in real time and after a long day’s capture you won’t get any nasty surprises with Nexus, you can check the quality of your data as it is being measured.

SEAMLESS VIDEO
Nexus is the first software application on the market to seamlessly integrate digital reference video - significantly enhancing your usability and analysis process. But that is not all – you are also able to overlay 3D information on the video image, for example the force plate ground reaction force vector or the calculated 3D marker positions. You can choose from a variety of digital video cameras, using both DV and DCAM standards.

CUSTOMIZE EVERYTHING
Another great thing about Nexus is you can make it work the way you do – pretty much everything can be changed to suit your needs. The all new Protocol Builder enables you to create your own wizard-based workflows to simplify the use of Nexus even further and perform common tasks step by step.

PAST PRESENT, FUTURE PERFECT
Your existing data will be safe as Nexus offers both backward compatibility and a platform built for the future. Nexus is fully compatible with Plug-in Gait and Plug-in Modeler so there is no need to change your processing protocols. Data captured with Nexus can also be seamlessly transferred in to Vicon Polygon for reporting – just as you would with Vicon Workstation. Although the past is firmly present in Nexus, equally important is the fact that Nexus has been designed for the future. Nexus is the platform for exciting new developments in the months and years to come.
