CREATE AND CUSTOMIZE ALL YOUR DATA IN ONE APPLICATION
An updated user interface and intuitive tool ribbons make it easy to review and edit your data in 3D, as a graph or as a table. Depending on the data type, the correct pane automatically appears, allowing you to use point-and-click interaction to change the appearance at any point. Create a hyperlink to save your layout, which can then be restored on screen at any time. As the industry standard for presenting kinematic, kinetic and other types of graphs, Polygon offers versatile visualization tools and options that make building a report easy to understand.

Polygon can automatically export your on-screen data to six different formats including a self-contained report with its own Polygon Viewer, PDF, AVI, HTML, MS Excel and MS Word. This allows you to access, customize and share your on-screen data with others in an intelligent and comprehensive format that best fits your needs.
IDEAL FOR PRESENTATIONS
The interactive, hyperlink-based Polygon reports are ideal for presenting data – whether it is for a conference, a referring physician, a college audience or maybe just for an internal analysis session. Polygon can be set up to produce projector-friendly slides, supplementing or replacing the need to use Microsoft PowerPoint. This means that instead of spending time and effort transferring motion data to PowerPoint, you can use Polygon straight away to give an interactive presentation.
FULLY INTEGRATED
Vicon Polygon is fully integrated with Vicon Nexus and Vicon BodyBuilder™ through Eclipse data management which provides a standard user interface for data organization and access. Immediately view and access a hierarchy of all data files and reports.
REAL TIME FEEDBACK
Polygon is the world’s most advanced tool for biofeedback visualization in real time. Polygon enables you to display data both graphically and in 3D. For example, you can display the results of a biomechanical model that is being processed in real time and immediately view joint angles or the 3D segments. In addition, Polygon can normalize the graphical data for repetitive movements so that the current movement cycle can be overlaid with historical data. This is a great training tool since you can suggest actual changes in the subject’s movement patterns and immediately view the results.
Polygon 4 Features
NEW 3D WORKSPACE
The Open Scene Graph (OSG) based 3D workspace drastically improves both the functionality of the workspace and offers more realistic visuals. The new features within the 3D workspace give you more control over the space and improve the visual experience.
IMPROVED GRAPH CONTROL SCHEME
The graphical data in Polygon has been improved in a number of key ways. Some of these improvements include: common control systems to Nexus; data tags; graph range system; key stats table; and an Auto-Scale button.
MOVIE PANE
Movie panes now support the ability to pan and zoom. This allows the user to focus in on, and hyperlink to, important findings that are occurring in a reference video. Overall video performance has also been significantly increased. Up to six synchronized videos can be viewed within Polygon 4.
MOVIE AND MULTIMEDIA
Calibrated reference video can be automatically imported along with trial data when captured simultaneously. This gives you visualization and reference video within the movie pane. You can also view multiple synchronised videos in the 3D workspace as well as visualize other multimedia material such as photos, web pages and MS PowerPoint presentations.
MUSCLE MODELING MODULE
Visualize models, link muscle colors to EMG activity and plot key variables such as muscle lengths, moments and moment arms. Polygon is supplied with a ready-to-use muscle model based on published material. However, you can also choose to define your own muscle model and customize its properties.
TEMPLATES
If you have created a report that you want to use routinely, Polygon can save it as a template. This reduces the process of generating a new report based on this template to a few mouse clicks, allowing you to immediately concentrate on the results.
MULTIPLE SUBJECTS
Polygon lets you display multiple, synchronous subjects in the same 3D pane. This powerful feature allows you to directly compare the movement patterns of a subject pre- and post- intervention or to compare the techniques of an expert and a novice athlete, side by side and fully synchronized.

NETWORK ACCESS
Polygon reports can be accessed across a local network through your Polygon Viewer. You no longer need to clog up your inbox with multiple large Polygon reports.
