In addition to customer training at installations and user meetings, we also run a comprehensive series of training courses.
The courses are professionally conducted in comfortable surroundings, with full documentation and individual PC's available for each student.
Courses
Vicon Nexus – 2 Days
Designed to provide each participant with insight and knowledge of motion capture for biomechanics in gait analysis. Topics covered will include: Introduction to hardware, calibration, capture, processing of motion capture and analogue data and a review of new functionality in Vicon’s latest generation of Biomechanic’s software Nexus. The approach will utilize an interactive lecture in conjunction with practical hands on sessions.
Vicon Polygon - 2 Days
Designed to train each participant in authoring and using Polygon reports. Emphasis will be placed on integration of Polygon into clinical and research protocols by utilizing interactive lecture in conjunction with practical hands on sessions.

Vicon BodyBuilder - 2 Days
Designed to teach each participant the methods of creating a Biomechanical Model using BodyLanguage and BodyBuilder. The course will involve a large amount of practical work with students creating and testing their own models.

Vicon iQ - 2 Days
Designed to give each participant a comprehensive understanding of motion capture for animation. Emphasis will be placed on calibration, capture, post processing of motion capture data and modeling. Arranged in parallel sessions to allow you to tune the course to your needs. The course will utilize interactive lectures and workshops in conjunction with practical hands on sessions.

Vicon iQ Advanced - 1 day
Tailored to the individuals’ requirements, this course is designed to give participants a more thorough understanding of Vicon iQ for their specific application. Highlights of the course will include Retargeting, Video Reference, and other iQ 2.5 improvements such as Real Time scalability and changes to parameters. The course will include hands on sessions and participants are invited to bring some problematic data with them for analysis by Vicon Engineers.
