Virtual Events
Vicon is supporting or exhibiting at a variety of virtual events this summer, including virtual SIGGRAPH, ASB, and the ongoing ISBS Sports Biomechanics Lecture Series. At SIGGRAPH 2020, the Vicon booth will host live LED wall camera tracking and Shōgun SimulCam motion capture demos. More information on virtual SIGGRAPH will be coming soon.
Unmatched Dynamic Accuracy to 0.017 mm
Assessment of optical motion capture systems in differing installations and settings can be challenging, due to the number of variables involved. The Vicon team recently completed work on a method and terminology that builds on the ASTM E30641 standard, suitable for assessing the measurement of the relative position between two objects in different locations within a capture volume.
