Nexus Markerless is an add-on for Vicon Nexus that brings markerless tracking into the same capture ecosystem as marker-based data. It uses Vicon Vanguard cameras to track subjects without markers, alongside optical cameras, force plates and object tracking in a single session. Data flows directly into the Nexus workflows, and reporting tools labs already use.
What hardware do I need to use Nexus Markerless?
Yes. Nexus Markerless supports simultaneous hybrid capture, so markerless and marker-based tracking run together in the same session. This lets labs compare both outputs directly on the same trial, blend methodologies for different subjects, and validate markerless results against their existing marker-based data without a separate capture.
Does Nexus Markerless work with force plates?
Yes. Nexus Markerless supports synchronised capture with force plates in the same session as markerless and marker-based tracking. This gives labs multi-modal data, kinematics and kinetics together, without running separate captures or reconciling data from different systems afterwards.
