Ben Lumsden, Head of Studio, The Imaginarium Studios
Ben Lumsden started working in motion capture on the hit film District 9. He met Andy Serkis while working on Rise of the Planet of the Apes, the first film to use motion capture in a live action environment. Ben now heads up Andy’s performance capture studio at the Imaginarium Studios in London. Here his film credits have included Avengers: Age of Ultron, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and his game credits include Ryse: Son of Rome and Star Citizen. He is currently helping bring the technology to the stage in the RSC’s production of The Tempest.
